Images of the Smoky Mountains

This page shows some images of the Great Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. I went to the Smoky Mountains two years ago, in 2024, and the scenery was stunning! My family and I went hiking in the mountains and we got to see the most beautiful things like rivers and waterfalls flowing from the mountains. We stayed in this small mountain town where we could see the mountains looming above us. The mountains were always covered in a hazy effect whenever you looked at them from a distance, hence why they're called the Smoky Mountains. These first two images are not my own. The authors' names are mentioned on the pictures themselves. Those first two are images of the Great Smoky Mountains at sunrise with the second one being in Autumn.
The second set of images are also not my own. The authors' names are on the images themselves. These two images show the wilderness of the Smoky Mountains, with the second one being in the winter. The first image in the bottom row is my favorite of the two as it reminds me of what I saw when I went. These images do not do the real thing justice as they are far more spectacular when you see them for yourself. If you end up going, just know that there are a lot of black bears in the woods. If you're afraid of bears, don't worry because elk attacks are more common than bear attacks in that area!
